Founded in 2011, Unitive Consulting specializes in addressing the human side of "Human Resources" with innovative, humanistic solutions. The firm was created by principal consultant Yvette Durazo, who recognized the urgent need to resolve workplace disputes in a more compassionate and effective way—beyond the traditional HR processes. Through her extensive experience, Yvette witnessed firsthand the financial, emotional, and organizational toll that unresolved workplace conflicts imposed, including lost talent, reduced productivity, and deteriorating workplace morale. She also experienced the detrimental effects of hostile workplaces on mental well-being and health, which fueled her passion for helping CEOs create workplace cultures where inclusion and productivity thrive together.
Unitive Consulting focuses on unlocking the potential of human capital by enhancing relationships and driving exceptional performance. A 2013 Stanford University study revealed that 43% of CEOs identified "conflict management skills" as their top area for personal development. Many also expressed concerns about the lack of essential people skills in new hires, which are critical for fostering collaboration and organizational success
